AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – T-Cell Netherlands stated on Wednesday that it’s going to open not less than 700 million euros in Dutch cities in collaboration with Open Dutch Fiber to construct and introduce a fiber-optic community with KKR Infrastructure and Deutsche Telekom Capital’s three way partnership ($ 832 million). T-Cell competed towards KPN and VodafoneZiggo within the Netherlands.
In March, KPN introduced a 440 million euro partnership with pension fund large ABP to speed up its fiber optic rollout, focusing on clients in low-service areas.
KPN, which says it already reaches one-third of the Netherlands’ 8 million houses, plans to succeed in 2.5 million by 2026.
